Over the years, MCEDD has led in the development of industry clusters for arts, wine, high tech, renewable energy, alternative healthcare and small business through grants from the EDA, Business Oregon, and Washington Commerce grants for Cluster development.
In the 2024-2025 biennium, Business Oregon’s Rural Opportunity Grant supported our staff to fulfill MCEDD’s mission – to promote the creation of family-wage jobs, the diversification of the economic base, and the growth, development and retention of business and industry.
