Gorge Tech Alliance

Gorge Tech Alliance (GTA) logoMCEDD has focused on growing the diverse and innovative high tech industry since the formation of the Columbia Gorge Technology Alliance in 2012. The Unmanned Aerial Systems industry sector in the Mid-Columbia region is collectively a national hub for this industry, and bolsters the local economy with manufacturing and supply chain needs, as well as driving STEM educational development.  The industry is a major economic driver with higher-than-average wage jobs.
